SUMMARY

“Personally, I believe Paramotoring is the freest form of flying, these are the best videos I could find that summarizes this sport, I highly recommend learning everything you can about it before purchasing gear and if you really wanna fly a paramotor, then go do it because training is not a requirement & you don’t need any kind of pilots license to fly one because it’s considered an ultra-light vehicle according to part 103 of the FAA’s rules and regulations, you can take off in most areas as long as you have the common sense of being respectful of everything around you, you don’t need any airport’s permission to fly from any of the legal take-off sites unless your doing something commercially, you can fly at virtually any altitude from just above the trees all the way to 17,000-feet on a good day & outside of any restricted airspace, you can do fun things like add a smoke machine onto the exhaust of your Paramotor, drop safe objects such as paper airplanes, toilet paper, money, water balloons or anything that does not pose a threat to someone on the ground, you can schedule your own fly-ins with friends, you can sign up for bigger events such as the Icarus Race, Wings Over Winter, The Endless Footdrag, Sun n Fun, EAA Airventure and others and the greatest gift in the world of paramotoring is flying above clouds on a good day & doing it legally. Finally, before you pursue this, I would at least find a friend that has a few years of experience, learn everything you can with that person, read the official laws about paramotors and make safe decisions according to your own best judgment. Anyway, please check these videos out, have fun and fly safe!”
